AgriVista – an Agricultural Quiz Competition

The corona virus pandemic has brought about a standstill to the flow of everyday life of students who were preparing for competitive entrance exams like ICAR-UG & PG, BHU PG, IBPS AFO, CCI, NABARD, FCI and many more. So, in an attempt to restore some normalcy we (AgriMoon.Com, Go for Agriculture Education YouTube channel and KrishiGurukul Club of Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture) have decided to come forth with an Agriculture and AgriAffairs Quiz Competition. This event will be conducted online and all registrations will also be done online by AgriMoon.

Date: 4^th, 5^th & 6^th JUNE 2021 (Time 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon).

Mode of Quiz: ONLINE (AgriVarsha App & Web)

TOPICS:

All the courses that are asked in ICAR-UG & PG, BHU PG, IBPS AFO, CCI, NABARD, FCI and many more competitive exams (Plant biotechnology, Plant science, Animal biotechnology Entomology, Agronomy, Horticulture, Forestry, Agri engineering, Agribusiness Management, Dairy Science Technology, Fisheries, Veterinary science, Plant pathology, Agriculture Economics, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture Extension, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Soil Science, Food science and technology, Post Harvest Technology, Weed science, Farm Management, Seed Technology etc)

 

GUIDELINES:

• Quiz will be conducted in 3 rounds, each round on 4^th, 5th and 6^th June 2021 (Time 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon).
• Round 1: Agriculture Quiz,
• Round 2: Agriculture current affairs,
• Round 3: Agriculture + Agriculture Current Affairs.
• Each round has 50 questions for 30 minutes.
• The language of the Quiz will be “English only”
• A participant will be allowed only a single entry to ensure fairness.
• Each question will carry 4 marks for correct attempt and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect attempt (NEGATIVE MARKING).
• Results to be announced on 7^th June (5 pm) on the Go For Agriculture YouTube Channel.

 

JUDGING PARAMETERS:

Participants will be judged on the basis of:

• Overall marks obtained in all the 3 rounds.
• If marks are same then winner will be decided on time taken to complete all the 3 rounds and negative marking.

1st PRIZE	₹ 1500
2ndPRIZE	₹ 1000
3rd PRIZE	₹ 500

• Top 3 winners will get Certificate of Appreciation
• Top 10 winners will get a ₹ 100 voucher card and Top 11-20 winners will get ₹ 50 voucher card to purchase any course on AgriVarsha.
• All the participants who will score more than 50% marks will get a participation certificate.
