PARA-I

  1. Applications are  invited  online  for  recruitment  to  the  post  of Food Safety Officer in A.P. Institute of Preventive Medicine, Public Health Laboratories and Food (Health) Administration Subordinate Service for a total of 22 vacancies in the scale of pay of Rs.28,940 – 78,910 from candidates within the age group of 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2019.
    1. The     proforma     application     will     be     available     on     Commission’s     Website (https://psc.ap.gov.in) from 07.03.2019 to 28.03.2019 (Note:27/03/2019 is the last date for payment of fee upto 11:59 mid night).

PARA-2: ELIGIBILITY:

  1. He  /  She  is  of  sound  health,  active  habits  and  free  from  any  bodily  defect  or infirmity rendering him unfit for such service:,
    1. His / Her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him for such service:,
    1. He /She possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the post: and
    1. He/ She is a citizen of India:

PARA-3: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Name of the Post Essential Educational Qualifications
Food Safety Officer in A.P. Institute of Preventive Medicine, Public Health Laboratories and Food (Health) Administration Subordinate Service Must  possesses  a    Degree  in  Food  Technology  or Dairy      Technology      or      Biotechnology      or      Oil Technology     or  Agricultural  Science  or  Veterinary Sciences   or   Bio   –  Chemistry   or   Microbiology   or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University, orany   other   equivalent   /   recognized   qualification notified by the Central Government

PARA- 5 AGE:

  • Age Relaxation is applicable to the categories as detailed below:
S. No Category of candidates Relaxation of age permissible
1. SC/ST and BCs 5 Years
2. Physically Handicapped persons (HH and OH categories only) 10 Years
  3.   Ex-Service men Shall be allowed to deduct from his age a period of 3 years in addition to the length of service rendered by him in the armed forces / NCC.
  4. N.C.C. (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.)
  5. A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of APSEB, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible). 5 Years based on the length of regular service.
  6. Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months. 3 Years

ARA – 6 HOW TO APPLY:

the  applicant  will apply online through Commission’s website.

PARA – 7: (a) FEE:

  • 7.1.       Applicant   must   pay   Rs.   250/-   (Rupees   two   hundred   and   fifty   only)   towards application processing fee and Rs. 80/-  (Rupees eighty only) towards examination fee.
