Telangana police seizes Rs 20 lakh cash from milk van
Speaking to India Today, police inspector J Madan Mohan Reddy said, “We recovered 1000 notes of Rs 1,000 denomination while 2,000 notes of Rs 500 banned currency was found from the milk van.”
Telangana Police today seized Rs. 20lakh cash after receiving specific information.
Speaking to India Today, police inspector J Madan Mohan Reddy said, “We recovered 1000 notes of Rs 1,000 denomination while 2,000 notes of Rs.500 banned currency was found from the milk van.” During investigation, the driver who works for a private dairy farm said that he was carrying the amount to pay arrears to the dairy farmers.
The police informed the Income Tax department for further investigations.
