“The Pahadi Agriculture e-magazine” is an open access magazine for farmers, Non government Organisation, research stations, agriculture college, farmer’s cooperative, farmers produce organization, researchers, scientists, professors, govt. project experts and govt officials.
1st inaugural issue we got published on 1st April 2023. The main objective of the magazine is to gather and collection of good case studies of farmers, extension services, lab to lad initiatives, provide platform to farmers and NGOs to spread their good work for farmers in hilly regions, livelihood initiatives, climate smart agriculture in hilly regions, improved technology adopted, income enhancement through better agriculture practices etc
Basically, it will be an information bank for all farmers and they may be aware about agriculture activities carried out in entire hilly regions of the country.
Migration is a big problem in the higher Himalayan regions, due to migration, most of the cultivable lands have become barren and such barren fields have become the hiding place of wild animals, on the contrary, some farmers are very successful in adopting agriculture based livelihood in these areas. Sundar is doing beautiful work and is becoming an example for all, so the purpose of this monthly magazine is to inspire more such farmers by spreading their success stories to other people, so that they too can reverse After migration, you can run your livelihood by doing self-employment in your villages only!!
