Hyderabad: The Telangana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd (TDDCF), which markets milk under the Vijaya Dairy brand, plans to increase daily milk procurement to 6 lakh litres in the cominAbout Us By Usersg months, up from the current 4.4 lakh litres, according to Chairman Gutha Amith Reddy.
Although procurement stands at 4.4 lakh litres a day, the cooperative currently sells about 3.20 lakh litres daily, with the surplus being channelled into value-added dairy products. Strengthening milk procurement and expanding market absorption remain top priorities, he said.
Major Expansion of Vijaya Dairy Parlours
To boost retail sales, TDDCF aims to set up 400–500 new Vijaya Dairy parlours across Telangana over the next three to four years. The cooperative has invited entrepreneurs to take advantage of the expansion by opening parlours in different parts of the state.
Recently, 50 parlours were opened within GHMC limits, along with 25 parlours in rural areas. Another 25 outlets are scheduled to open next month.

Focus on Dairy Entrepreneurship
Amith Reddy was speaking at a conference on ‘Innovations and Opportunities in Dairy Entrepreneurship: From Farm to Market’, jointly organised by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FTCCI) and the Indian Dairy Association.
The expansion strategy is expected to improve farmer incomes, strengthen value addition, and enhance Vijaya Dairy’s market presence across Telangana.
