Vijayawada: Nara Bhuvaneswari, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Heritage Foods Limited, has been conferred the Outstanding Dairy Professional Award 2025 (Andhra Pradesh) by the Indian Dairy Association (IDA), South Zone, in recognition of her visionary leadership and sustained contribution to the dairy sector and farmer empowerment.
The award was presented during the inaugural session of the Southern Dairy and Food Conclave (SDFC) 2026 on January 9 at Dr. Verghese Kurien Nagar, Calicut Trade Centre, Kozhikode. Kerala Minister for Animal Husbandry J. Chinchu Rani presented the award in the presence of Tamil Nadu Minister for Milk and Dairy Development T. Mano Thangaraj and Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Kinjarapu Atchannaidu.

The conclave saw participation from senior industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, academicians, entrepreneurs and farmers. Prominent attendees included IDA President Sudhir Kumar Singh and IDA South Zone Chairman Dr. Satish Kulkarni.
Speaking after receiving the award, Bhuvaneswari said the recognition reflected the collective efforts of the Heritage Foods team and its stakeholders. She added that the honour reinforced the company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and rural empowerment, further strengthening Heritage Foods’ position as a leading player in India’s dairy and FMCG sector.
The award underscores Bhuvaneswari’s role in driving inclusive growth in the dairy industry while aligning business expansion with farmer welfare and sustainable practices.
