Dairy Plant in Gaya: In Bhindas village of Wazirganj block in Gaya, a modern dairy plant with a capacity of 2 lakh liters per day will be constructed at a cost of ₹50.27 crore. This mega project of Sudha Dairy will not only help double the income of livestock farmers in five districts but will also turn the Magadh region into a hub for products like paneer, lassi, and milk powder. Gaya:
Preparations to give a new boost to the White Revolution in Bihar’s Gaya district have been completed. A large and modern dairy plant is being established in Bhindas under Wazirganj block with an investment of ₹50.27 crore. With a processing capacity of 2 lakh liters per day, this plant will not only promote milk production in the region but will also create new self-employment opportunities in rural areas.
Expansion of Sudha Dairy and Modern Facilities
The primary objective of this ambitious project is to provide an organized market to local livestock farmers through Sudha Dairy (COMFED). At present, the existing Sudha Dairy plant in Gaya city has a capacity of only 60,000 liters per day, which collects milk from all five districts of the Magadh region.

Spread across 10 acres in Bhindas, the new center will streamline milk procurement and supply. It will also include a milk powder plant, enabling surplus milk to be processed and stored efficiently.
Increase in Farmers’ Income
Once operational, the plant will procure milk from local farmers and process it into various dairy products. In addition to fresh milk, products such as curd, lassi, paneer, peda, and gulab jamun will be manufactured and supplied across the Magadh region. This initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the economic condition of thousands of families associated with dairy farming.
