Strong Demand Driving the Market
Consumption of key dairy commodities remains high worldwide, especially:

These products are widely used in food manufacturing, bakery, confectionery, and retail dairy markets, so international buyers continue to secure supply even when prices rise.

Why Prices Are Rising Despite High Milk Production

Milk must be processed quickly. If plants lack capacity or face operational limits, higher milk production does not automatically increase product supply.

Global stocks of dairy products are not very high, and shifting trade flows mean some regions still face supply shortages.
4. Supply Chain Costs
Rising energy, logistics, and transportation costs increase the cost of producing and shipping dairy products, which supports higher prices.
What This Means for the Dairy Industry
For farmers and processors, the situation shows that dairy economics depend on more than just milk output.
Milk production alone does not determine dairy prices. Demand, processing capacity, supply chains, and trade dynamics play equally important roles.
