Vijayawada: In a move to expand its footprint in Andhra Pradesh’s dairy market, Krishna Milk Union has launched a new range of Vijaya dairy products in Vijayawada, aiming to deliver high-quality, nutritious products with modern packaging standards.

The launch reinforces the strong brand legacy of Vijaya Dairy, which is widely trusted across South India for its purity, quality, and farmer-linked sourcing model.
Expanding Product Portfolio
Vijaya Dairy offers a wide range of products, including:
- Milk (known for its rich and creamy texture)
- Ghee
- Flavoured milk
- Paneer
- Curd and buttermilk
- Ice cream, sweets, and lassi
The new launch aims to cater to evolving consumer demand for safe, hygienic, and value-added dairy products.
New Automated Dairy Plant at Veeravalli
To support expansion, Vijaya Dairy has set up a greenfield processing plant on a 27-acre site at Veeravalli near Vijayawada.
The plant:
- Initially handles 3–4 LLPD (lakh litres per day)
- Designed to scale up to 5 LLPD, expandable to 6 LLPD
- Focuses on both fresh milk and reconstituted milk (RCM) during lean seasons
To address earlier challenges like high labour costs, utility consumption, and hygiene standards, Vijaya Dairy partnered with Neologic Engineers for a fully automated solution.

Impact on Farmers and Employment
The project is expected to:
- Increase milk procurement from local farmers
