Jaipur District Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited Announces Saras Milk Price Hike; Paneer, Curd and Lassi Also Costlier.
Milk Prices Increased by Rs 2 Per Litre
In a fresh revision of dairy product prices, Saras milk has become costlier across Jaipur after the Jaipur District Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited announced new retail rates effective from Thursday.
According to the revised pricing structure:
- Saras Toned Milk (Blue Packet) will now cost Rs 56 per litre, up from Rs 54.
- Saras Standard Milk price has increased from Rs 60 to Rs 62 per litre.
- Saras Gold Milk will now be sold at Rs 70 per litre instead of Rs 68.
The dairy union stated that the revised prices have been implemented across all Saras milk booths and authorised outlets under Jaipur Dairy.
Paneer and Curd Prices Also Revised
Consumers will also have to pay more for paneer and curd products.
Revised Paneer Prices
- 200-gram paneer packet: Increased by Rs 6, now priced at Rs 80.
- 1-kg paneer packet: Increased from Rs 362 to Rs 385.

Revised Curd Prices
- 200-gram curd packet: Increased from Rs 16 to Rs 18.
- 400-gram curd packet: Increased from Rs 32 to Rs 36.
Buttermilk and Lassi Become Dearer
The prices of popular summer beverages have also been revised upward.
- Plain buttermilk packets are now costlier by Rs 1.
- Salted buttermilk packets have seen a Rs 2 increase.
- Lassi packets are also dearer by Rs 2 each.
The revised prices came into effect immediately from Thursday across all Jaipur Dairy-operated Saras outlets and distribution networks in Rajasthan.
Industry observers believe the hike is linked to increasing procurement costs, transportation expenses, packaging material prices and operational expenditures in the dairy sector.
