Hyderabad : Dodla Dairy Ltd. reported a mixed financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), with revenue registering steady growth while profitability came under significant pressure due to rising input costs.

The company’s standalone net sales increased 6.1% year-on-year to ₹955.66 crore, compared with ₹900.67 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Sequentially, revenue also improved from ₹844.92 crore reported in the March 2026 quarter.
However, net profit declined sharply by 65.1% to ₹21.75 crore, down from ₹62.36 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting margin pressures despite higher revenue.
Rising Milk Costs Weigh on Margins
Dodla Dairy’s operating performance weakened during the quarter as the cost of procuring raw milk increased substantially.
- Consumption of raw materials: ₹780.40 crore (up from ₹648.39 crore)
- Employee expenses: ₹43.58 crore
- Other expenses: ₹118.32 crore
As a result, EBITDA fell 49.5% year-on-year to ₹45.81 crore, compared with ₹90.70 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue Growth Continues Despite Margin Pressure
The latest results indicate that Dodla Dairy continues to witness healthy demand across its dairy portfolio, supporting top-line growth. However, elevated milk procurement prices and higher operating expenses significantly impacted profitability during the quarter.
The performance mirrors the broader trend across India’s dairy industry, where processors have experienced margin compression due to increased procurement costs while maintaining competitive consumer pricing.
Dodla Dairy remains one of India’s leading integrated dairy companies, with operations spanning fresh milk, curd, butter, ghee, paneer, flavoured milk, ice cream and other value-added dairy products across multiple states.
