Guwahati, July 3, 2026: The West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Ltd. (WAMUL), operating under the Purabi Dairy brand, has invited online applications on behalf of North East Dairy & Foods Limited (NEDFL) for multiple contractual positions across Assam. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the company’s marketing, sales, distribution, finance, and project management teams.
The selected candidates will be appointed on an initial two-year contract and placed on the rolls of North East Dairy & Foods Limited (NEDFL). While postings are initially planned for locations including Guwahati, Nagaon, Tezpur, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, and Tinsukia, NEDFL has clarified that employees may be transferred to any business location in Assam based on organizational requirements.
Vacancies
The recruitment includes the following positions:
- Deputy/Assistant Manager (Marketing & Sales – Fresh Segment)
Locations: Nagaon, Tezpur, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Guwahati
Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree or diploma in Marketing or an equivalent qualification. Applicants require 6 years of experience for Deputy Manager or 4 years for Assistant Manager, along with at least one year of team-handling experience. Graduates with four or more years of relevant experience are also eligible to apply. - Deputy/Assistant Manager (Marketing & Sales – Frozen Segment)
Location: Jorhat
Applicants must have a postgraduate qualification in Marketing or an equivalent field, with 6 years of experience for Deputy Manager or 4 years for Assistant Manager. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in frozen foods or ice cream business. - Executive (Sales – Projects)
Location: Guwahati
Graduates from any discipline can apply. Preference will be given to MBA holders with experience in government liaison, civil engineering projects, or event management. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required. - Assistant (Sales & Distribution – Fresh Segment)
Location: North Lakhimpur
Candidates should be graduates with at least one year of experience in sales and distribution in the dairy, FMCG, or FMCD sectors. - Assistant (Sales & Distribution – Frozen Segment)
Locations: Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia
Graduates with one year of sales and distribution experience are eligible. Experience in frozen products or the ice cream business will be preferred. - Executive/Junior Executive (Finance & Accounts)
Location: Silchar
Applicants must hold a full-time B.Com degree. Additional qualifications such as M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA-Inter, or CMA-Inter will be advantageous. A minimum of two years of finance and accounts experience, preferably in the dairy or FMCG sector, is required.
Selection Process

Internal Purabi Dairy employees applying for these positions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority.
