FrieslandCampina Raises December 2024 Milk Price to €60.06 per 100 Kilograms

Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina announced an increase in its Integral Milk Price for December 2024, setting the rate at €60.06 per 100 kilograms. The rise reflects a €1.85 jump in the Guaranteed Price, now at €57.35 per 100 kilograms, compared to the previous month.

The adjustment is driven by expectations of higher reference milk prices amid shifting global market dynamics and includes a positive reconciliation for prior periods.

Integral Milk Price Breakdown
The Integral Milk Price, paid to FrieslandCampina member dairy farmers for conventional milk, comprises the Guaranteed Price, a sustainability premium under the Foqus planet program, and deductions for specific costs. Members may also receive a Supplementary Cash Payment, contingent on the cooperative’s financial performance and retained earnings strategy.

Component Values for December
Key component values for the month stand at €876.02 per 100 kilograms for protein and €584.01 per 100 kilograms for fat.

The price increase underscores a cautiously optimistic outlook for global dairy markets as FrieslandCampina continues to align its pricing strategy with market trends and sustainability objectives.
