AIEEA PG 2019 – National Testing Agency (NTA) the new exam conducting body for AIEEA PG 2019 has released the application form. It has been released on April 01, 2019 and the aspirants can apply till April 30, 2019. The registration can be done online at ntaicar.nic.in. Till the year 2018, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducted the AIEEA PG (All India Entrance Examination for Admission). It is a national level entrance exam which is conducted for admission in 95 sub-subjects under 20 major subject groups. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 01, 2019. AIEEA PG 2019

AIEEA PG 2019 will be conducted for two and a half hours duration in computer-based mode. By clearing this entrance examination, a candidate will be able to pursue any of the 20 agriculture-related courses across any of the Indian cities. Candidates who will be securing merit can also avail attractive scholarship schemes that the Council offers. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts this entrance examination to test various suitable candidates who would eventually fit into agricultural research related field. Candidates will be eligible to pursue any of the following programmes offered, by clearing AIEEA PG 2019 from any ICAR accredited agricultural universities, except Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar where 100% seats (both accredited and non-accredited programmes) will be filled up through ICAR.

AIEEA PG 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has clearly laid certain eligibility norms for appearing or applying to AIEEA PG 2019.

Age Limit Minimum Qualification
Should be at least 19 years of age as on 31 Aug 2019. No relaxation will be provided in the age limit under any circumstances. Should have either passed 10+2+5 (B.V. Sc. & A.H.) or 10+2+4 or 10+6 years degree (B.Sc. Ag.) programmes from a recognized institute. General Category Candidates should have at least secured 60% in aggregate, whereas in case of SC/ST candidates a minimum of 50% marks is required. For M.V.Sc. admission, a candidate must have done B.V.Sc.& A.H. with internship before the date of admission to its accredited member colleges.

Candidates could have pursued their Bachelor degree (10+2+3 year) from any of the two ICAR DUs namely IARI Pusa and NDRI Karnal offering some of the related courses.

AIEEA PG 2019 Application Form

AIEEA PG 2019 dates have been announced, a candidate will be able to fill and submit the application forms online. AIEEA PG 2019 Application Forms will be available over the official website of the ICAR i.e www.icar.org.in. Prior to applying, every candidate must familiarize oneself with the eligibility criteria and the other important details mentioned in the information brochure. ICAR AIEEA PG 2019 Application forms must be filled with extreme care.

All candidates will be required to start this application procedure with registration. A candidate will be asked to fill certain details like name, personal email id and contact number, along with the course he or she wants to pursue. Make sure, the email ID and contact number provided are correct and are in working condition, as the Council may need to communicate some of the AIEAA PG 2019 related updates via it. All the application forms must reach the authorities before the last date along with the specified amount of fee.

Application Fee – As per the last year’s year record, the application fee (for General candidates) was Rs. 800/-, whereas for SC/ST/PC candidates, it was Rs. 400/-. The fee for this year has not yet been released. This page will be updated accordingly after its official release.

Mode of Payment – Online (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking)

AIEEA PG 2019 Admit Card

After receiving all the applications from its interested students, ICAR will be releasing the e-admit cards for AIEEA PG 2019 over www.icar.org.in or www.aieea.net. Generally, it is released by the second week of June, every year. Your AIEEA PG 2019 Admit cards will contain your examination roll number, registration number, name, exam date, time and center, along with the exact address of the test center.

A self-attested photograph and thumb impression along with these details will also be there. All of these important exam related details mentioned on the admit card makes it an important document to be carried on the day of the exam and also stored safely, even after. Note that, no candidate shall be allowed to enter the exam premises without a valid AIEEA PG 2019 admit card.

AIEEA PG 2019 Exam Pattern

Preparing for All India Entrance Examination For Admission (AIEEA) PG 2019 is surely not an easy task! But below we have provided you with the AIEEA PG 2019 exam pattern, which will help in your preparation.

  • Duration – 2.5 hours
  • Mode of Exam – Online
  • Total Number of Questions – 150 questions
  • Question Type – Multiple Choice Question, along with 10 matching questions
  • Total Marks – 650 marks
  • Marking Scheme – For every correct response, +4 marks (+5 marks in case of matching questions) will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking Scheme – Applicable for 0.2 marks, whereas 1 mark each from cross matching questions.
  • Unattempted Questions – No marks will be deducted

To appear for a national level entrance examination, a candidate must prepare well. AIEEA PG 2019 Admit Card

ICAR will be releasing the AIEEA PG 2019 admit cards over the official website of ICAR and AIEAA.  Generally, the admit cards are released by the second week of Jun 2019. All those who will be submitting the application forms before the last date will get the link to retrieve their admit cards for the exam. Your e-admit cards will have the exam roll Number, center and venue of Examination and date, time for the exam, along with some general instructions. There should be a self-attested recent photograph of the candidate and the left-hand thumb impression over the space provided. Note that, no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid AIEEA PG admit card.

AIEEA PG 2019 Mock Test

ICAR will be releasing the mock tests over the official website, around the second week of the June. Candidates with the help of these mock test will be able to get an idea of what sort of questions may be asked in the exam, its difficulty level and time it, accordingly. It will be released a few days after the conducting body has released the admit cards for the exam. The AIEAA PG 2019 mock tests for this page is not out as yet. Candidates will be able to login to their application portals and download the mock tests for this year, after a candidate finds the link over this page.

AIEEA PG 2019 Result

The AIEEA PG 2019 Results will be announced over the official website of ICAR and AIEAA. Candidates need to login to the application portal in order to view their results. Note that, the officials would not be sending the AIEEA PG 2019 scorecard individually via any registered post. As per the dates released, a candidate needs to login with the credentials provided to view or download their AIEEA PG 2019 result. All those candidates who will be meeting the minimum cut off marks will be called for the next admission round, that of counseling. Only after clearing this round, a candidate will finally be allotted a seat.

AIEEA PG 2019 Counseling

After announcing the AIEEA PG 2019 results, the authorities will be releasing the merit lists, on the basis of which a candidate will be called for online counseling round. All the candidate whose name appears on the merit list will be eligible to appear for this round. All the selected candidates need to appear for this round as per the date, time and venue allotted to them. After qualifying for this round, a candidate will be allotted a subject and one of ICAR accredited universities. It will be required for every candidate to report to the venue along with a list of relevant documents like date of proof, identity proof, residence proof, passing of qualifying exam proof, etc.

AIEEA PG 2019 Reservation Policy

The ICAR reserves the following number of seats for the different categories, qualifying AIEEA PG 2019:

  • SC – 15%
  • ST – 7.5%
  • Physically Challenged (PC) – 5%
  • Remote and Underprivileged States/ UT(UPS) – 2%

  1. Dear Sir, this time we are listening that the 3rd year students can give the PG exam only once because they added the Biometrics system so if we will give the test now then we wont be eligible for the next year exam and counselling so please inform me weather its true or not.
