Namaste India, one of India’s fastest-growing dairy brands and a unit of RSPL Group, has officially entered the Bihar market with the launch of its creamy fresh milk range. This move marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy in Eastern India and is backed by a proposed investment of ₹350 crore. The investment aims to establish a locally developed, well-organized, large-scale dairy infrastructure across the state to deliver fresh, high-quality milk to consumers.

Product Portfolio in Bihar
In this phase, the company will introduce multiple fresh milk variants in Bihar, including:
- Full Cream Milk (Perfect Maza)
- Standard Milk (Shakti Plus)
- Cow Milk
These products will be available in consumer-friendly pack sizes of 500 ml, 1 litre, and 6 litres. Distribution will be managed through a robust multi-channel network, covering kirana stores, retail outlets, modern trade formats, institutional channels, and direct distributors. The supply network will initially extend to around 12 districts and cities, including Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, and Nawada. The company aims to ensure consistent availability of quality milk at competitive prices.
Quality and Supply Chain Standards
Operations in Bihar will follow stringent quality protocols, including:
- Multi-level quality testing systems
- End-to-end cold chain management
- Strict hygiene and safety measures
These systems are designed to preserve milk freshness and nutritional value from farm to consumer.
Impact on Dairy Farmers
The initiative is expected to directly benefit approximately 7–8 lakh dairy farmers and 2–3 lakh families in the state. Through direct procurement models and fair pricing mechanisms, the company seeks to empower local milk producers and strengthen Bihar’s rural dairy economy.
Leadership Statement
Commenting on the launch, Manoj Arora, COO of RSPL Group, stated that Bihar represents one of India’s most promising dairy markets, with rising consumer demand for branded, hygienic, and quality-assured milk. He also indicated plans to expand further into Jharkhand, West Bengal, and seven Northeastern states in the near future.
National Growth Strategy
Bihar is being positioned as a strategic market within Namaste India’s nationwide expansion roadmap. With this launch, the brand now operates in approximately 17–18 states across India, reinforcing its status as a national dairy brand. Rising demand for organized and hygienic dairy products has positioned Bihar among India’s emerging high-growth dairy consumption markets.
