ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, North Goa, ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa, organized a training on the ‘Importance of Feeding Green Fodder in Dairy Cattle’ under TDC-NICRA at Mayem today. The event aimed to educate local farmers about the benefits of sustainable fodder practices.
Dr N. Bommayasamy, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK, North Goa, emphasized the significance of integrating agronomical practices into fodder cultivation. He highlighted the economic advantages of feeding green fodder to dairy animals.
The event was coordinated by Dr Udharwar S.V., Dr N. Bommayasamy, Shri Rahul Kumar, and Ms Shishira D.
A total of 11 farmers participated in the training programme.
