From campfire-inspired ice cream to yet more high-protein dairy, we look at some of the new products to hit the shelves this month
Clover Sonoma’s high-protein organic Greek yogurt

Clover Sonoma has re-introduced Greek yogurt to its product line-up with the launch of Pasture Raised Organic Greek Nonfat Plain Yogurt. With 22g of protein per serving, which the company says is more than leading organic Greek yogurt brands, the yogurt is made with fresh pasture-raised organic milk from Clover Sonoma’s dairy suppliers.
Available at $9.99 SRP for 32oz packaging, the product goes on sale from May 29 at independent and natural grocers, plus major retailers including Safeway, Sprouts, and Whole Foods Market.
Yeo Valley’s Protein Snack Pots

In the UK, Yeo Valley Organic has announced the launch of its new Protein Snack Pots, a fruited extension to its Greek Recipe yogurt range. The 200g newcomers are made with 100% natural ingredients and provide 15g of protein per pot.
Yeo Valley says its Greek Recipe yogurt line is ‘experiencing exponential growth’ and this new launch is a reflection of the increasing consumer demand for high-protein dairy options.
The snack pot format pairs organic Greek-style yogurt with fruit combinations in 200g single-serve portions. The range comes in two flavors: Tropical Mango and Strawberry and Passion Fruit, and each pot packs 15g of protein plus calcium, vitamin B12, and vitamin B2 and no artificial ingredients.
Yeo Valley Organic Protein Snack Pots will be available in select Waitrose stores nationwide from May 28 at RRP £1.50.
Yili enters Hong Kong with infant formula
Chinese dairy major Yili Group is expanding into Hong Kong with its infant formula portfolio, starting with its best-selling range, Pro-Kido. Pro-Kido’s Aronurish formula will be stocked across Mannings outlets in Hong Kong.
The launch forms part of Yili’s global market expansion strategy, which has been put in motion after the company recorded nearly 70% increase in overseas sales of infant formula in addition to maintaining its market-leading position in terms of domestic sales of milk powder products.
Zhang Yipeng, vice-president of Yili Group, said that the company sees Hong Kong ‘as an international gateway’ and looks forward to working with global partners ‘to seize emerging opportunities and deliver high-quality, nutritious, and delicious products to consumers worldwide’.
Lactalis launches spreadable cheese, protein dairy range

Lactalis UK & Ireland launched Leerdammer Original Spreadable 125g, expanding the brand into the spreadable category.
Made with real Leerdammer cheese, the new spread brings the brand’s mild and nutty flavour to a smooth and versatile format ideal for sandwiches, bagels, or crackers, says the company.
The product is designed to tap into new usage occasions and broaden the brand’s appeal across a wider shopper demographic, plus address the need for convenient everyday formats.
The new spreadable cheese is available in select Morrisons stores and online via Ocado.
Also recently launched by Lactalis UK & I was a new protein range under the brand Lindahls. Comprising Cottage Cheese, Gouda Slices, Greek Cheese and Quark, the range targets affluent and urban shoppers aged 45+, who exercise regularly and are seeking out protein for weight loss and maintenance, as well as muscle recovery, the company says.
The range also includes two fat-free, flavoured Lindahls protein milk drinks with collagen and is available in retail now.
Yoplait UK introduces Skyr Natural

Yoplait is bringing its Skyr Natural product to the UK to tap into the adult yogurt market after making a name for itself in the kids yogurt category.
Yoplait Skyr is the best-selling product in France out of the total Chilled Yoghurt and Dairy (CYD) category, and is also positioned in one of the fastest-growing segments of the yogurt category in the UK. (Plain and natural is growing at 18.2% in volume and 21.7% in value and recruiting new consumers into the total yogurt category, according to Nielsen Total UK including Discounters 22.2.25 / Kantar Consumption 12.23 data cited by Yoplait UK).
Launching initially in Ocado and Iceland, Yoplait Skyr is available in 450g pots with an RRP of £2.25.
Tillamook launches cheese slices, limited-edition Icecream

US dairy co-op Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) has launched four new cheese flavors that are now available in stores nationwide. These are: Spicy Colby Jack Slices, Spicy Mexican Blend Farmstyle Thick Cut Shreds, Extra Sharp Triple White Cheddar Shreds, and Smoked Medium Cheddar Slices.
Also introduced recently is a seasonal line-up of sweet and savory ice cream.
Salty Caramel Pretzel is made with a base of salted vanilla ice cream churned with chocolaty covered pretzel bits and a ribbon of salted caramel, while Apple Crisp draws inspiration from grandma’s perfect apple crisp recipe, featuring vanilla ice cream with baked oatmeal streusel and crisp apple pieces to make hearts crumble.

Meanwhile, previous limited-edition flavors Orange & Cream and Campfire Peanut Butter Cup will join the co-op’s core line of ice creams.
Tillamook products are available across the country at Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, Publix, Ahold Delhaize, and many other grocery stores.
Breyers partners with Hershey to launch Campfire Collection

Unilever USA-owned Breyers has launched Campfire Collection of S’mores treats, in a brand partnership with Hershey’s.
To create the Campfire Collection of S’mores treats, Breyers has used real Hershey’s milk chocolate (82% of Americans say Hershey’s Milk Chocolate is their preferred chocolate for making the perfect s’more, says the ice cream firm).
Campfire Collection S’mores comes in three formats: 48 oz tub and pints; bars, and sandwich. The range is available now at major retailers nationwide.
West Madison Foods and Texas Roundhouse launch dips

Dairy dip maker West Madison Foods and restaurant chain Texas Roadhouse, Inc., have launched the Texas Roadhouse Dairy Dips, a new range that pays tribute to the restaurant’s popular appetizers.

The three dips are each available in 12 oz tubs and the flavors are Cactus Blossom Dip (fastes like a full bite of the fried onion dipped in Texas Roadhouse’s Blossom sauce, say the companies); Rattlesnake Bites Dip (with a flavor akin to the restaurant’s jalapeno and cheese appetizer), and Fried Pickle Dip.
The new dips are manufactured and distributedlander license by West Madison Foods and available only at Walmart from May 12.
Boursin’s Lemon & Dill cream cheese

Bel Brands US’ Boursin is introducing a limited-edition flavor to its line-up: Boursin Lemon & Dill. The brand is also set to keep Boursin Black Truffle & Sea Salt as a permanent addition to the portfolio.
Blending tangy lemon with notes of herbaceous dill, Boursin Lemon & Dill adds ‘a burst of flavor to easily elevate any dish, whether spread on crackers, stirred into lemon orzo pasta or served atop grilled vegetables’, says the company.
Boursin Lemon & Dill is available now for $6.99 at select retailers, including Publix, Albertson’s, Jewel, Hy-Vee and more with additional distribution coming throughout the year.
Boursin Black Truffle & Sea Salt is also available at retailers nationwide now, including Target, Publix, Hy-Vee, Albertson’s and more for $6.99.
