Amul Crosses ₹1 Lakh Crore Turnover, Sets New Benchmark in Cooperative Success

Record-Breaking Growth

  • Brand turnover: ₹1,00,000+ crore
  • GCMMF sales turnover: ₹73,450 crore
  • Growth rate: 11.4% (from ₹65,911 crore in 2024–25)

Chairman Ashok Chaudhary credited the achievement to the trust of consumers and the efforts of 36 lakh dairy farmers.

What’s Driving the Growth?

GCMMF’s continued dominance as India’s largest FMCG organization is powered by:

  • A portfolio of 1,200+ product packs
  • A vast distribution network across India and abroad
  • Ability to adapt to changing consumer preferences

Vice-Chairman Gordhan Dhameliya called it a “milestone for the cooperative spirit,” highlighting Amul’s model as a blueprint for economic democracy.

Expanding Global Footprint

Amul has accelerated its international expansion:

  • Entry into US and European markets
  • Launch of fresh milk and other dairy products abroad
  • Presence in 50+ countries

The brand has also been ranked the world’s No. 1 cooperative by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA).

Strengthening the Cooperative Ecosystem

A major development in the sector was the launch of Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited (SPCDF) in July 2025 by Amit Shah.
