Mild cases often cause gastrointestinal symptoms like diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, fever, and muscle aches. In more severe cases, especially in pregnant women, older adults, and Immunocompromised individuals, it can cause serious complications such as sepsis, meningitis, confusion, loss of balance, seizures, and even death. Cashew Cheese – Made by blending soaked cashews with lemon juice and seasoning, it mimics creamy cheese while being dairy-free and nutrient-dense.

Tofu Ricotta – Crumbled and seasoned tofu can replace ricotta in pastas, lasagnas, or sandwiches, adding protein with fewer calories.

Avocado – Mashed or sliced, it offers creaminess and healthy fats, making it a great swap in sandwiches, wraps, or even on toast.
