New Delhi: Talking about food brands in India, the country’s largest dairy company, Amul, has once again proved that it is the uncrowned king in the food sector. According to the latest report released by Brand Finance India, Amul has achieved the distinction of becoming India’s largest food brand, and it is continuously maintaining its lead.

The report mentions that Amul’s brand Ivalue has reached $4.1 billion, which is proof of its tremendous success, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Mother Dairy’s great performance

According to the report, Delhi-NCR’s Mother Dairy has made its place as India’s number-2 food brand. Mother Dairy’s brand value has been $1.15 billion. Apart from this, Britannia has been third, Nandini fourth, and Dabur fifth. This shows that the popularity of Indian food brands and their dominance in the market are increasing.

Statement of Jayan Mehta

Jayan Mehta, MD, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), expressed happiness over this achievement and said that this success is the result of the hard work of lakhs of farmers across the country. the trust of consumers, and the continuous efforts of our brand.

He said that Amul is continuously expanding not only in India but also abroad. He said, “Amul has been successful in winning the trust of Indian families, and this is the biggest responsibility for us.”

Improvement in Mother Dairy’s brand ranking

Mother Dairy MD Manish Bandlish also reacted to his company’s success and said, “The improvement in Mother Dairy’s brand ranking is the result of the hard work of our consumers, farmers, partners, and employees.” He also informed us that Mother Dairy’s turnover has reached Rs 17,500 crore in 2024-25, which is 16 percent more than last year.

Amul has become not only India’s but also the world’s largest farmer-owned dairy company, with about 36 lakh farmers associated with it.
