The appeal was made by Jatt Sabha President and former Minister, Manjit Singh, while addressing a meeting organised by the newly appointed District President of the Jatt Sabha Youth Wing, Shivam Choudhary, here today.

The meeting was chaired by Manjit Singh and attended by several senior leaders, including MLA Vikram Randhawa, District President Jammu Urban and former Corporator Dwarka Choudhary, along with other prominent members of the Jatt community.

During the meeting, participants expressed serious concern over the alleged harassment of dairy farm owners by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). Members stated that repeated actions by JMC officials have adversely impacted dairy operations, leading to business disruptions and significant financial losses.

Addressing the gathering, Manjit Singh extended full support to dairy farm owners and strongly criticised the attitude of certain JMC officials. He stressed that allotment of designated plots by the Industries Department would allow dairy operators to establish their units under proper regulation, adopt modern technologies, and scale up production in a systematic manner.

MLA Vikram Randhawa highlighted the hardships faced by milk suppliers from the Jatt community and also raised concerns regarding Displaced Persons, urging the Government to resolve their long-pending issues. He further called for employment opportunities for unemployed educated youth.

Former Corporator Dwarka Choudhary echoed the demands of the community and assured continued support.
