New Delhi: Parag Milk Foods Ltd reported a 13.51% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹32.57 crore for the third quarter of FY2025–26, impacted by higher input costs and commodity inflation.
The company had posted a net profit of ₹37.66 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.
Despite the drop in profit, total income rose significantly to ₹1,021.62 crore in the October–December quarter, compared to ₹890.08 crore in the year-ago period. This marks the company’s highest-ever quarterly revenue, crossing the ₹1,000 crore milestone.
However, total expenses increased over 15% to ₹983.33 crore during the quarter, up from ₹852.42 crore a year earlier, primarily due to rising raw material and milk procurement costs.

Commenting on the results, Executive Director Akshali Shah said, “Q3 FY26 yet again creates a landmark quarter of more than ₹1,000 crore with the highest ever quarterly revenue.” She added that commodity inflation pressures are expected to persist in the foreseeable future.
The company highlighted that commodity inflation during Q3 FY26 was 20% higher year-on-year and 6.5% higher sequentially. Average milk procurement prices increased to ₹40 per litre during the quarter, further impacting margins.
Pune-based Parag Milk Foods markets its dairy portfolio under brands such as Gowardhan, Go, Pride of Cows, and other value-added dairy products.
While revenue growth remains strong, sustained commodity inflation and elevated milk prices are likely to remain key factors influencing profitability in the coming quarters.
