The leadership transition at Amul Dairy has been formally concluded, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation among milk producers across Kheda district. On Tuesday, the Kheda District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union unanimously elected Sambhesinh Parmar as Chairman and Vijay Patel as Vice Chairman.
The appointments come 96 days after the Union’s general elections, finally settling speculation over who would assume control of one of India’s most influential dairy cooperatives.

The election of both office bearers was carried out unanimously during the meeting of the Union’s Board of Directors, reflecting broad internal consensus.
