- Amit Shah inaugurated Banas Dairy’s Bio-CNG & Fertilizer Plant in Vav–Tharad, Gujarat.
- He also laid the foundation stone for a 150-ton milk powder plant.

2. Growth of Banas Dairy
- Banas Dairy has grown to a ₹24,000 crore turnover.
- The credit goes mainly to women dairy members who handle milk collection.
- Payments go directly into women’s bank accounts every week.
3. Model Cooperative for India
- The Bio-CNG plant model of Banas Dairy will be replicated across India.
- Banas is now Asia’s largest milk-producing dairy.
- 250 dairy chairmen/MDs from across India will visit Banaskantha to study this model.
4. Water Revolution in North Gujarat
- Under PM Modi, water from Narmada & Mahi was diverted to dry regions.
- This transformed Banaskantha & Mehsana—farmers now grow 3 crops a year.
- Research work is underway to document water conservation success.
5. Circular Economy in Dairy
- Goal: Zero waste — even cow/buffalo dung will be used for:
- Bio-gas
- Bio-CNG
- Organic manure
- Electricity
- Farmers’ income will rise by 20% through this circular economy model.
6. High-Value Dairy Products
- India will start manufacturing high-value dairy products that are in global demand.

7. Animal Feed Inside Cooperatives
- Cooperatives will produce their own animal feed instead of buying from the market.
- Profit from feed production will go directly to women members’ bank accounts.
8. White Revolution 2.0
- Driven by four major schemes:
- National Gokul Mission
- Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund
- Restructured National Dairy Plan
- National Animal Disease Control Programme
- Aim: Transform the dairy sector and expand prosperity nationwide.
9. National Cooperatives for Agriculture & Dairy
- Government has created six national cooperatives, including:
- Seed production
- Organic farming
- Agri exports
- Three multi-state dairy cooperatives
- These cover all products: cheese, whey protein, baby food, ghee, khoya, ice cream, edible oils, flour, honey, cold storage, potato chips, animal feed, etc.
10. Ambedkar & Sardar Patel Tribute
- Amit Shah paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas.
- Highlighted that Ambedkar’s Constitution guarantees dignity to all communities.
- Also mentioned the padyatra celebrating Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, who shaped India’s cooperative movement.
11. Digital Support
- Village milk cooperatives equipped with micro-ATMs.
- Upcoming: digital financial services through these cooperatives.
