Mother Dairy Targets ₹24,000 Cr Revenue in FY27, Holds Prices Despite Cost Pressures

New Delhi | April 2026Mother Dairy has crossed the ₹20,000 crore turnover milestone in FY26, registering a 17% year-on-year growth, and is now targeting 20% growth to reach ₹24,000 crore in FY27.

The company is accelerating its pan-India expansion strategy, backed by a ₹2,000 crore investment plan to scale manufacturing, distribution, and product portfolio.

Strong Growth Momentum

Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said the company has:

Maintained positive profitability in FY26

Doubled turnover in 5 years (₹10,000 Cr → ₹20,000 Cr)

Delivered two consecutive years of 15%+ growth

Segment Performance

  • Dairy vertical: ₹15,000+ crore
  • Edible oils (Dhara): ₹4,000+ crore
  • Growth drivers:
    • Value-added dairy products
    • Edible oils segment

Milk business recorded:

  • 11% volume growth

Massive Capex to Expand Footprint

Mother Dairy is investing ₹2,000 crore to expand its manufacturing base, including:

  • Nagpur (₹600 crore mega dairy plant)
  • Gujarat
  • Punjab

Objective: Strengthen presence in Central and Southern India

Distribution Expansion Across India

  • Presence in 16 states
  • Reach: 4 lakh retail outlets (target: 5 lakh)
  • Strong base in Delhi NCR:
    • 800+ milk booths
    • 350+ fruit & vegetable outlets

Currently:

  • 63% revenue from Delhi-NCR
  • Target: Increase non-NCR share from 37% → 42%

Product Innovation Push

The company plans to:

  • Launch 30 new products across brands
  • Expand into:
    • Frozen foods
    • Ready-to-eat segment

  • 40% growth in ice cream segment, driven by innovation
