Mother Dairy Renews Integrated Media Mandate with WPP Media Until 2030

New Delhi: In a significant endorsement of a long-standing agency-client partnership, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. has renewed its integrated media mandate with WPP Media for another four years, extending the collaboration until 2030.

Mother Dairy Renews Integrated Media Mandate with WPP Media Until 2030

The renewed mandate comes as one of India’s leading dairy and food companies seeks to deepen consumer engagement, strengthen brand affinity, and accelerate growth across its expanding portfolio amid rapidly evolving media consumption habits.

Mother Dairy, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), said the extended partnership will focus on enhancing brand storytelling while delivering measurable business outcomes through a blend of brand-building initiatives and performance-driven media strategies.

Strategic Partnership Enters New Phase

The relationship between Mother Dairy and WPP Media began with a digital media mandate and expanded in 2018 to include mainline media planning and buying. Over the years, the partnership has evolved into a fully integrated media engagement encompassing traditional and digital platforms.

Industry observers view the renewal as a sign of increasing confidence among major advertisers in long-term agency partnerships that can combine data analytics, audience intelligence, and integrated campaign execution.

“We are pleased to continue our long-standing association with WPP Media, a partnership that has played an important role in strengthening our connection with consumers over the years,” said Jayatheertha Chary.

“As consumer journeys continue to evolve, we look forward to leveraging deeper insights, innovation and data-led capabilities to build more meaningful engagement and connect with new consumers as we drive the next phase of growth for our brands,” he added.

Focus on Data-Driven Growth

Under the renewed mandate, WPP Media will continue to manage integrated media planning and buying for Mother Dairy while leveraging audience intelligence and consumer insights to improve campaign effectiveness.

According to Navin Khemka, the partnership has been built on a foundation of trust, shared goals, and measurable outcomes.

“This extension reflects a relationship built on shared ambition, trust, and consistent delivery. As India’s consumer and media landscapes evolve rapidly, we remain focused on connecting Mother Dairy’s rich heritage with modern, data-driven storytelling,” Khemka said.

Experts See Growing Trend in FMCG Marketing

Marketing and advertising experts say the renewal reflects a broader trend among fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, which are increasingly relying on integrated media strategies to navigate a fragmented consumer landscape.

“Today’s consumers move seamlessly across television, digital platforms, e-commerce channels, and social media. Brands need unified media strategies that deliver consistent messaging across multiple touchpoints,” said industry analysts.

Experts note that data-led media planning has become particularly important in categories such as dairy and packaged foods, where competition is intensifying and brands are seeking stronger consumer loyalty.

Supporting National Expansion

The renewed partnership is expected to play a key role in supporting Mother Dairy’s expansion ambitions across India. WPP Media will align media investments with key consumption occasions and seasonal demand cycles while integrating creative content, consumer experiences, and performance marketing initiatives.

Industry experts believe that as regional markets become increasingly important growth drivers, media agencies capable of delivering localized insights alongside national-scale execution will be critical partners for large consumer brands.

Industry Significance

The extension comes at a time when India’s advertising industry is witnessing rapid transformation driven by digital adoption, retail media growth, and advances in artificial intelligence-powered audience targeting.

For Mother Dairy, the renewed mandate signals continuity in its marketing strategy as it seeks to strengthen its position in the highly competitive dairy and food sector. For WPP Media, retaining one of India’s most recognized food brands reinforces its standing as a key media partner in the country’s FMCG landscape.

Analysts believe the long-term agreement provides both organizations with strategic stability, enabling them to focus on innovation, consumer engagement, and sustainable growth over the remainder of the decade.
