Hyderabad, February 14, 2026 — Heritage Foods Limited has categorically denied any association with Indapur Dairy, dismissing recent allegations circulated across sections of the media and social platforms as “baseless and false.”
In an official statement issued Friday, Chief Operating Officer J. Samba Murthy clarified that Indapur Dairy is an independent private dairy firm based in Maharashtra and is not affiliated with Heritage Foods in any capacity.
“While Heritage procures select dairy ingredients and undertakes contract manufacturing of products such as cheese, UHT milk, skimmed milk powder (SMP), and paneer from various suppliers, it has never entered into any contract with Indapur Dairy for the manufacture or supply of ghee,” the statement said.
The clarification follows claims linking Heritage Foods to ghee supplied by Indapur Dairy to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The company asserted that these allegations are “completely unfounded” and have no connection to its operations.

Condemning what it described as a “focused and motivated campaign,” Heritage Foods alleged that certain media outlets, YouTube channels, and social media influencers were attempting to tarnish its reputation. The company reiterated its adherence to stringent quality protocols, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance, highlighting its ISO 22000 certification.
The COO further revealed that a notice received in December 2025 has been legally challenged and is currently sub judice. Additionally, the company has initiated legal proceedings against a Telugu daily over what it termed defamatory reporting.
Heritage Foods stated that it remains committed to transparency and maintaining the trust of consumers, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
